ABOUT

Cathi Workman

Hi! I'm Cathi, a writer and creative based in Dana Point, CA, where my imagination is sparked daily by beach walks, great books, and the colorful people and places that make up my sweet town. In recent years, I discovered that story is one of the most underestimated tools we have to heal. That belief is what gave birth to Little Star, the story I wish someone had given me when I was small, and an invitation to every person who has ever been told they were too much, too loud, or too bright.

DEBUT PICTURE BOOK

Little Star

A picture book for dreamers of all ages · Coming Fall 2026

A radiant young star sets out to find where she truly belongs, only to discover that the very light she was told to dim might be the one thing the universe needs most.

LEARN MORE

She worked and she tried, she did all that she could,
to make herself smaller, to make herself "good."
But try as she may and try as she might,
Little Star simply could not dim her light.
